Platinum Paws is pleased to announce the opening of our new daycare facility for dogs, Platinum Paws Playtime. Playtime offers your best friend a safe and healthy environment to exercise, make new friends, increase social skills, and stimulate his mind.

We all know dogs require exercise. Did you also know that dogs are by nature “pack” animals? They love the company of other dogs! Playtime offers a way for your pet to make new friends, join a new “pack” and burn off lots of energy in the process of playing.

Your dog’s visits to Playtime will be fun and safe. Under constant supervision by trained handlers, your pooch will play in a clean and spacious 2000 square foot indoor facility equipped with lots of toys and special rubber flooring designed to protect her feet during playtime. Of course, our Playtime guests always have access to fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks in our fenced outdoor area. There is also time for naps when needed!

We approach daycare with the same guiding principles we use in our grooming salon and compassionate dog training: to give your dog the best possible experience while reducing stress. For this reason, Playtime is not a “drop-in” doggie daycare. We use small, consistent playgroups to avoid the health risks associated with strange dogs coming in and out of the group, and to avoid the stress of meeting new dogs each visit. By asking our participants to commit to an initial eight week package on a consistent day of the week for visits, each time your dog comes to Playtime, her same friends will be there, ready to play!

If your dog meets the basic requirements and you are ready for him to join a playgroup, please complete an application. Once completed, you may drop your application off at Platinum Paws or fax it to 317-876-3730. Applications are reviewed by our staff and if approved, your dog will be invited to a half-day at Playtime for evaluation. This allows our handlers to slowly introduce your dog to new friends, while assessing his compatibility within the group. If the handler finds that your dog and the group are a good match, you are ready to sign up for a package.

The initial evaluation half day is $25.00

Packages offered after the initial half day are:

After completion of a package, you can continue to bring your dog once per week or once every two weeks by purchasing individual sessions for $30.00 each. We request that you continue to visit on the same day of the week as your initial package to avoid compatibility issues.
